Steps to visit Char Dham:

You can follow a well-planned path that ensures hassle-free travel from one location to another if you want to visit the Char Dham sites regularly. Here is a suggested route and the available transport options:

• Delhi to Haridwar/Rishikesh (Way to Char Dham Yatra): Your voyage should begin in Delhi, India’s capital. To go to Haridwar or Rishikesh, you can either take the train or reserve a flight. • Haridwar/Rishikesh to Yamunotri (Way to Char Dham Yatra): You can take a shared or a hired taxi from Haridwar or Rishikesh to the town of Hanuman Chatti, which is located around 210 km distant. To go to Yamunotri from Hanuman Chatti, you must walk for around 6 kilometres. For those who would rather not trek, there are also horses and palanquins available.
• Yamunotri to Gangotri (Way to Char Dham Yatra): Once your tour to Yamunotri is over, head back to Hanuman Chatti and continue on to Gangotri. This distance is roughly 225 km long. To get to Gangotri, you can either take a private or shared taxi.
• Gangotri to Kedarnath (Way to Char Dham Yatra): Travel to Guptkashi, which is about 275 km away from Gangotri. Either a private or shared taxi is an option.
